Whether you are a beekeeper, gardener, or just interested in the natural world and country life, we have something here for you. Come and be part of this special place.

If you believe you have a swarm of bees (or an established nest), please have a look at this page to check that they are honey bees, and for contact numbers for local beekeepers who collect swarms.
Wildflower gardens
Walk through our wildflower meadow and see butterflies dancing in clouds around you. Pause and listen to the hum of bees working the clover flowers. Look out for skylarks rising, singing, into the sky.
Come and see how we are planting up the gardens around the honey house with flowers, fruit, herbs and vegetables to support our bees and other pollinators.
Our beekeeping courses are run by Ken and Dan, who each hold the highest qualifications in beekeeping. They are experienced and entertaining teachers so you are in safe hands and can be confident that you will learn beekeeping at the highest standard.
We have a teaching apiary, classroom and laboratory all on site and teach at all levels from beginner to advanced.
Honey & produce
Our run and set honey is a delightful floral mix, a result of our bees working the fields and hedgerows of East Devon.
We use our own fruit and vegetables to make chutnies, jams and jellies. With our honey we make fudge, flapjacks and honey vinegar. The surplus beeswax is used in lip balms, polish, and candles. Nothing is wasted here!
